Jake Meyers went 4-for-5 driving in two runs and stole three bases as the Nebraska baseball team rallied to beat Minnesota on Friday night at Siebert Field, 5-3.
Meyer had the game-tying two run RBI in the top of the 5th to tie the game at three. The Omaha Westside alum is also now 15-for-15 on the season in steals. NU starter Jake Hohensee went seven innings allowing three runs with three strikeouts.
Scott Schreiber had the go-ahead hit for the Big Red in the top of the 8th driving in Meyers on an RBI single. Ben Miller added an insurance RBI plating Angelo Altavilla one batter later.
The Huskers improved to 22-14-1 overall and 6-3-1 in the Big Ten.
Nebraska & Minnesota meet again at 2 p.m. on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
