When the 348th consecutive sellout crowd packs inside Memorial Stadium on Saturday for the season opener against Fresno State, three very special visitors will be joining them. Nebraska plans to welcome three five-star recruits to Lincoln on Saturday.
Those recruits are Donovan Peoples-Jones, Foster Sarell, and Darnay Holmes. Peoples-Jones announced his official visit to Lincoln on Twitter. The wide receiver from Detroit's Cass Tech is regarded as one of the best recruits in the country and the No. 1 wide receiver, according to 247Sports.
Foster Sarell hails from Washington and has been recruited by Mike Riley dating back to his coaching days at Oregon State. The offensive tackle was offered by Nebraska back in June 2014.
Darnay Holmes is a cornerback from Calabasas High School in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Two of Holmes's teammates at Calabasas, quarterback Tristian Gebbia and receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr., have already committed to the Huskers' 2017 recruiting class.
