According to the Omaha World-Herald, an ESPN spokesperson confirmed that the network has scrapped the plans for the 30 for 30 documentray on the Nebraska football 1990's championship teams.
The Huskers teams of the 90's were filled with dominance on the field, but also had their fair share of controversy off the field.
Nebraska went a perfect 25-0 in 1994-95 with wins against Miami and Florida in the Orange Bowl, with Head Coach Tom Osborne winning his first National Championship in 1994.
However, some controversy surrounded running back and Heisman hopeful Lawrence Phillips, who was suspended following an assault charge in 1995, and then was allowed back on the team by Osborne.
