The Huskers will hold their annual Red-White Spring Game Saturday, April 15 with kickoff set for 1 p.m. For fans heading down to the game, there are a few things you may want to know before heading down to Memorial Stadium.
Nebraska has sold more than 66,000 tickets to the spring game as of Wednesday morning. However, some tickets still remain available at Huskers.com/tickets until Friday for the print at home option. Fans can also purchase tickets at the Nebraska Athletics Ticket Office on Stadium Drive, but are encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time to avoid long lines.
Reserved tickets for the game are $10, but children in the eighth grade or younger will be allowed into the stadium free of charge (with a complimentary ticket) to take part in the Drug Free Pledge at halftime. All ticket selling locations will accept both cash and card.
In years past, the children participating in the Drug Free Pledge came onto the field at halftime to do so, but as a safety precaution, children will be asked to take the pledge from their seat in the stands.
Fans may enter any gate at Memorial Stadium except for gates 1, 6, 8, 17 and 22. Following kickoff, gates 18,19, 21 and 23 will also be closed.
Public parking will be available at Pinnacle Bank Arena and Haymarket Park for $5 for those with a ticket to the game. Parking will be free to those with a ticket to the softball or baseball game.
Fans with a ticket to the Spring Game will also receive free admission to Nebraska's baseball game against Iowa at 6:30 p.m. or the Huskers' softball game against Penn State at 2 p.m. Fans must show their Spring Game ticket at a ticket selling location at Hawks or Bolin Field in order to secure a ticket.
