Last August, the Nebraska media was sought out by a large member of the Huskers defensive line and told "I'm not a backup. I haven't been a backup since my redshirt freshman year. So I'd appreciate if you guys didn't publish that..."

It was made clear around the spring game that Kevin Williams, who made those comments last year, was going to transfer from the Huskers program and it seems he has found a new home. Williams will transfer to Michigan State and is eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer.

Williams has suffered a number of different injuries during his time at Nebraska, including losing both the 2011 and 2013 seasons to knee injuries. His most productive year being 2014 where he racked up 19 tackles and three sacks.

The 6'2" 275-pounder made four starts in five seasons with the Huskers.
