Former Nebraska defensive back Stanley Jean-Baptiste has signed a deal to stay with the Kansas City Chiefs throughout OTAs and potentially training camp.

Jean-Baptiste was a cornerback with the Huskers from 2010-13. He was the Huskers top cornerback in 2013 and helped Nebraska become one of the top pass defenses in the Big Ten that season.

In 2014, Jean-Baptiste was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round. Since then, he's spent most of his time on the practice squads of the Detriot Lions and Seattle Seahawks.

Of the 46 tryout players to participate in the Chiefs rookie camp this weekend, Jean-Baptiste was one of six who was signed to continue with the team.
