LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska picked up a commit from four-star in-state wide receiver Zavier Betts on Wednesday. The Bellevue West standout made the announcement on Twitter. Betts is ranked as the #1 player in Nebraska for the 2020 class, according to Rivals & 247 Sports.

The six-foot-two 189 pounder is ranked as the 46th best player nationally for 2020 by Rivals and 91st nationally by 247 Sports.
Betts picked the Huskers over offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota & Purdue.
He becomes the 2nd known commit of NU's 2020 recruiting class along with quarterback Logan Smothers.
