LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — You don't need to be a recruiting analyst to recognize that Nebraska was outmatched against Ohio State in the talent department last Saturday night.
But Scott Frost hopes the Huskers' new football facility will help close that gap when the $155 million dollar project is finished in the summer of 2022.
"You really felt like when you were a student-athlete here that you had dozens and hundreds of people on campus that had your best interest at heart and that would do everything help you be the best that you can be," Frost said on Monday. To be honest, we have fallen behind a few people inn a couple of those areas. It's great to see the state of Nebraska and some of the people that are contributing to this that we're grateful to and helped us decide that we want to get to a point where we are giving our student-athletes the best of the best."
The facility is projected to be around 350,000 square feet in size.
