Fullback Ben Miles, son of former LSU head coach Les Miles, has announced his release from the Nebraska football program. Miles shared the news on Twitter early Wednesday evening.

Miles redshirted during the 2017 season and had four carries for nine yards during the Huskers' 2018 spring game. Miles came in to Nebraska as part of former coach Mike Riley's 2017 recruiting class.
Under new head coach Scott Frost, the coaching staff has mentioned during spring practice that the fullback position will not be utilized in the new offensive scheme.
