Mike Riley and his staff continue their success in the recruiting game this offseason with a weekend commitment. Nebraska landed Deontre Thomas, a defensive lineman from Mustang, Oklahoma. According to Rivals.com, Thomas is a three star defensive tackle.

Thomas is a 6-foot-2, 260-pound defensive tackle from Mustang High School. Thomas is the eighth commitment for the 2017 recruiting class, putting the Huskers ranked No. 17th in Rivals.com team recruiting class rankings.
