LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) The Nebraska football team has landed the commitment of three-star running back Ronald Thompkins from Loganville, Georgia. Thompkins made the surprising announcement on Friday afternoon.

Thompkins also had reportedly offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State & USC among several others.
The 6'0" 195 pounder comes from Grayson High School, which is where current NU linebackers Mohamed Barry & Breon Dixon attended.
The Huskers now have nine commits for the 2019 class, including three running backs which also include Rahmir Johnson & Thomas Grayson.
