Huskers captains look to right the ship

From what we've been told the talent is there. But after two games the Huskers are still looking for its first win of the season.

The role of igniting a fire under the team falls to the captains who will look to light the match this week as the team prepares for No. 19 Michigan.

"I'm going to come at my team, I know the rest of the leader are, we're going to come at, we're going to figure out what we need to do as leaders to motivate them and push them forward," said senior captain Jerald Foster. "If you don't know that as a leader, then I don't know exactly how you got into the position that you're in."

The Huskers have lost its first two games each by ten points, with each one coming down to the final drive of the game.

"I think guys need to remember how to win," said senior captain Luke Gifford. "When you get these opportunities good teams have to shut it down and that's what's so frustrating is you can see how good this team can be."
