Huskers' end the first week of fall camp with a scrimmage

Posted

The Nebraska football team wrapped up its first week of fall camp Saturday, August 5th. Over the last week the Huskers have held six practices at the Hawks Championship Center.

Nebraska ended the week with an 86-play scrimmage showcasing both sides of the ball.

"There were a lot of good plays. The one offense made some plays and not consistent but had some nice runs. I was excited about that too. All four quarterbacks actually functioned okay," Riley said. "They were pretty good. What is evident about football is that you can’t mess up procedure. It was a real good day, we hit the number we wanted to with the number of plays we wanted to be live.”

In today's injury report Riley stated Kade Warner broke his hand and will be replaced by Ty Chaffin.

Former Bellevue West running back Jaylin Bradley is making a name for himself as Riley mentioned Bradley has been impressive all week long.
