The Nebraska football team landed a defensive end commit on Tuesday night. Casey Rogers from Avon, CT tweeted out he will be Husker.

Rogers is listed as a three star prospect according to 247 Sports & Rivals. He took an official visit to Nebraska last weekend.
The 6'5" 250 pounder picked NU over offers from Ole Miss & Vanderbilt among others. Rogers also officially visited Ohio State & Alabama.

He becomes the first defensive Big Red commit on defense since the early signing period and the 2nd overall joining receiver Mike Williams.
Nebraska defensive coordinator Erik Chinander tweeted out this response to the commit.
