LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska football team named its four captains for the 2019 season on Saturday night.
Adrian Martinez, Matt Farniok, Mohamed Barry & Darrion Daniels were the four captains voted on by the Husker players.

Martinez is reportedly the first sophomore captain at Nebraska since Joe Dailey in 2004. Farniok is expected to be NU's starting right tackle as a junior. Darrion Daniels is a senior grad transfer from Oklahoma State. Barry ranked 2nd in the Big Ten last year in tackles.

NU opens the season next Saturday at 11 a.m. on ESPN against South Alabama.
