It's official: former Husker defensive tackle Maliek Collins is a Dallas Cowboy. According to a report from ESPN, Collins inked a four-year deal with a $881,152 signing bonus.

Collins was a third-round draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Collins underwent surgery on his foot in June, and may not be available at the beginning of training camp. Collins was the final member of the draft class to sign for the Cowboys.
In 2014, Collins 45 tackles, 14 of them for a loss, and 4.5 sacks. During the 2015 season, Collins had 29 tackles, seven of them for a loss, and 2.5 sacks. Collins, a team captain, played every game for the Huskers in 2015, starting in 12.
