The Huskers took on Fresno State tonight at Memorial Stadium for their season opener in front of a 348th consecutive sellout crowd. The Huskers won 43-10 over the Bulldogs.

Big Red has a big game on the ground.  The Huskers totaled 292 rushing yards, lead by sophomore Devine Ozigbo who posted 103 yards on 17 carries and added two touchdowns. Senior quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. notched 42 yards on the ground and also found the endzone twice.

A lot to be happy about for Nebraska after tonight's season opener. Here's what the head Husker, Mike Riley, had to say after his team's big opening win to start off the 2016 season.
