Posted

The NFL Draft wrapped up with rounds 4-7 on Saturday.  Alex Lewis was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 4th round.  He started at left tackle for the Huskers the past two years and was a team captain.

At the top of the sixth round the defending champion Denver Broncos selected Andy Janovich.  The former Gretna Dragon burst on the scene as productive fullback and special teams maven for Nebraska this year.  He scored three touchdowns and was considered one of the best coverage guys on special teams.

Former Husker cornerback Daniel Davie was not drafted, but he was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent (UDFA).

And former Omaha North standout, Brandin Bryant, was picked up by the Seattle Seahawks as a UDFA.  Bryant was a dominating force on the Florida Atlantic defensive line last season racking up 5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.
