Mike Riley updated the status of a couple of injured Huskers ahead of Nebraska's top-ten battle with Ohio State this upcoming weekend.
Riley said he has high hopes that linebacker Dedrick Young will return for the game against Ohio State. Young suffered an elbow injury against Wisconsin, but Riley said if he had to take a guess, he think's Young will play.
Tight end Cethan Carter has missed the last three games with an elbow injury but Riley said he is "on his way back". Although the depth chart released prior to the Ohio State game does not list Carter as injured, Riley said he's not sure that he will return this week.
Offensive lineman Tanner Farmer will not play against Ohio State. Farmer suffered a severe ankle sprain against Wisconsin.
