New Nebraska running back Greg Bell is transitioning well to the Division I level. The former JUCO standout had a total of 95 all-purpose yards in Saturday's Spring Game, the most of any NU back.
“Greg’s got a gear that is pretty special, I think he’s got good vision," said head coach Scott Frost. "He’s got to get lined up a little faster, be a little more urgent sometimes but he does some special things when the ball is in his hands.”

Bell averaged 6.8 yards per rush on Saturday, the most of any Nebraska back with at least eight carries.
"Bell had a good game," offensive coordinator Troy Walters said. "He did some things in space. When he got the ball in space and when he broke the first line of scrimmage he did some good things."
