After four games, running back Greg Bell is leaving the Huskers.
Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald are reportingthat Bell will not travel with the team to Wisconsin & is planning to leave NU. The news was first reported by Husker Online. The Nebraska athletic department confirmed the news to ESPN.
Bell came to Nebraska from Arizona Western, where he was the No. 1 ranked JUCO running back in the class of 2018.
At Nebraska, he started the first three games at running back but was recently passed up by Devine Ozigbo on the depth chart.
In the first four games, Bell rushed for 173 yards, including 104 against Colorado.
He is the second player to leave the program this week, Tyjon Lindsey was granted his release on Tuesday.
