We are down to #12 on our Indispensable 18 countdown and that goes to Will Honas. One of the top junior college linebackers from a year ago, Honas now moves to the Division I level looking to make his mark with the Blackhsirts.
Last season at Butler Community College in Kansas, Honas showed he had a nose for the football recording 96 tackles in 11 games.
"We're lucky to have Will Honas," head coach Scott Frost said during spring ball. "I love him as a kid and as a player. His biggest challenge I think it talking louder. He's kind of a quiet guy and he'll hit you. We've got to get him being a floor general."
The Huskers host Akron in game one of the Scott Frost era on September 1st.
