LINCOLN (KMTV) — Nebraska men's basketball coach Fred Hoiberg announced on Wednesday that the Huskers will take Election Day, November 3rd, off this year from all basketball-related activities.
Hoiberg made the announcement on Twitter.

The tweet reads: "In order to help create positive change in our communities, Nebraska basketball will use Election Day (Nov. 3, 2020) as an off day from basketball-related activities. We will encourage our student-athletes to register and use their right to vote so that their voices can be heard."
Many of the Husker players have returned to campus for summer workouts.
