CHICAGO (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team kept its season alive at least for one more day after beating Rutgers on Wednesday in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament, 68-61. The 13th seeded Huskers used a 15-0 run late in the game to seal the deal against the 12th seeded Scarlet Knights.
After the game, NU head coach Tim Miles tripped and fell while making his way to the locker room but quickly got up and played it off.

James Palmer Jr. led the way with 34 points, the most ever by a Nebraska player in the tourney. The senior scored 27 of those in the 2nd half.
NU (17-15) moves on to face 5th seed Maryland on Thursday staring at approximately 2 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
