LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team fell out of the AP Top 25 but remained 25th in the coaches' poll. The Huskers are coming off losses at Minnesota last Wednesday followed by a resounding 19 point victory at home against Creighton last Saturday. By snapping a seven-game losing skid to the Jays, NU takes plenty of confidence into finals week.
"I told them at the beginning of the year that I feel we can beat any team we play at any time, anywhere," said Nebraska head coach Tim Miles. "And that's not always the case. Sometimes you need an act of God to get a win and maybe you do but usually you don't but with these guys I feel like they have a lot of versatility and they can do enough things and it was a good Husker victory and I'm proud of our guys."
The Huskers take on Oklahoma State Sunday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota starting at 6 p.m. on BTN.
