Huskers go 8-30 from free throw line in overtime loss to Northwestern, dropping 14th straight

LINCOLN (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team went an abysmal 8-of-30 from the free throw line losing its 14th straight game on Sunday, 81-76, to Northwestern in overtime.

The Huskers fell to 7-22 on the season & 2-16 in the Big Ten. Haanif Cheatham scored a team-high 20 points on his Senior Day.

The Wildcats snapped their 12 game losing streak, with its last win coming against the Big Red back in January.

Nebraska heads to Michigan on Thursday starting at 5:30 p.m. on FS1.
