Nebraska basketball edged out a close 60-54 win on the road over Rutgers with help from an impressive performance from Isaac Copeland. The Huskers improved to 15-8 on the season and 6-4 in Big Ten conference play with the win.
Copeland led Nebraska in scoring with 23 points while adding seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal. James Palmer Jr. notched 18 points himself after coming off his career-high 34-point game Monday.
The Huskers struggled offensively, putting up just 60 points on 39.6% shooting from the field and made just five of its 18 three-point attempts.
After two-straight road games, Nebraska will return home for a matchup with Iowa Saturday at 7 p.m. in Pinnacle Bank Arena.
