University of Nebraska head coach Tim Miles announced sophomore forward Dedoch Chan has decided to transfer after the fall semester so play elsewhere.
Chan joined the Huskers just this past August. Prior to joining the team, he played his freshman year at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He did not see playing time in the closed scrimmage against Iowa State on October 21.
Heading in to exhibition play the Huskers are ready to live up to the high expectations surrounding the program.
"Right now we don't have much of a benchmark we can't compare ourselves to any other teams or records so it's all internal motivation right now," said junior Isaiah Roby. "We're trying to get as good as we can and improve on the things we did last year and things we know we do good as well as improve the things that we know we have to work on so right now it's us working on us."
The Huskers play in a home exhibition on Thursday night against Wayne State. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
