Nebraska basketball hopes to surprise pundits this season

Posted

Tim Miles and members of the Nebraska Basketball team traveled to our nation's capitol to participate in Big Ten Media Days. The Huskers are picked to finish between 12th and 14th in the Big Ten this year, but Tim Miles said he thinks his team can surprise some people.

Veteran point guard Tai Webster returns for his senior season after competing with the New Zealand national team this summer. The Huskers also add freshman big man Jordy Tshimanga into the mix. Tshimanga is a 6'11 center with a 7'4 wingspan.

The Huskers open their season against Chadron State Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
