Nebraska basketball has had a tough couple of weeks after learning of a few key players transferring, but Friday's news should calm the nerves of Husker fans for now.
Thomas Allen, a four-star guard from Garner, North Carolina, announced his commitment to the Huskers via Twitter Friday afternoon. The 6'2" shooting guard chose Nebraska over offers from Kansas, Ohio State, NC State and others.

Thomas was originally committed to NC State, but asked for his release in March. The Huskers now have three remaining scholarships for the 2017-18 season.
