Nebraska basketball came away with a 78-68 win over No. 14 Minnesota at Pinnacle Bank Arena, a major conference victory. The Huskers improve to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in the Big Ten Conference.

Nebraska shot it much more efficently against Minnesota than it did against No. 3 Michigan State Sunday, shooting 47.2% from the field.

The Huskers out-rebounded Minnesota 42-38 and held the Gophers to just 32.4% shooting from the field.

Most importantly, Nebraska held Minnesota's Jordan Murphy to just 10 points on the night. Heading into the night, Murphy was the Big Ten Conference's leading scorer at 21 points-per-game.

Glynn Watson Jr. put on a show for the fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena, scoring 29 points while racking up nine rebounds and two assists.

He wasn't the only Husker putting on a show though, as Duby Okeke threw down a couple of monster dunks that sent the Vault into a frenzy.

The Huskers don't have the easiest schedule remaining. Up next they'll face off against in-state rival No. 25 Creighton Saturday before hosting No. 2 Kansas Saturday, Dec. 16.
