Multiple reports indicate that 2018 point guard commit Xavier Johnson has asked for, and been granted his release from a letter of intent to join Nebraska basketball.

Nebraska currently has two players committed in their 2018 class, according toRivals.com. Johnson is considered a top-300 player by 247Sports.com, with a three-star ranking.
