SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KMTV) — In what felt like a home game, the Nebraska men's basketball team pulled away from Oklahoma State in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Sunday night, 79-56. Nearly all of the 3,800 plus in attendance at the Sanford Pentagon were rooting for the Big Red.
James Palmer Junior led the way for the Huskers scoring a game-high 29 points. Isaac Copeland added 16 points, while Thomas Allen scored 14. Following the win, Allen told reporters he didn't drive up to Sioux Falls until Sunday morning after being sick with a stomach virus & going to the hospital on Friday.
After trailing 30-23 late in the 1st half, Nebraska outscored the Pokes 56-26 the rest of the way.
NU improved to 9-2 on the season & will host Cal State Fullerton next Saturday starting at 1 p.m. on BTN.
