The Nebraska volleyball team released its 2017 schedule Monday, April 17th.
The Huskers begin their 2017 season on Friday, August 25th at the VERT Challenge in Gainesville, Florida. Nebraska will take on Oregon and then Florida.
Nebraska's first home match will take place Friday, September 1st for the annual Ameritas Players Challenge. Other teams in the challenge include Oral Roberts, Saint Mary's and Maryland-Baltimore County.
The Huskers finish non-conference play in Omaha with three matches at the Omaha Challenge hosted by UNO. Nebraska will face Omaha for the first time since 1990 Saturday, Sept. 16th. The match will be held at Baxter Arena and start time is set for 7:30 p.m. The Huskers will also face Kansas State and Norther Iowa in the Omaha Challenge.
Nebraska will start a 20-match Big Ten schedule with a visit to Penn State Friday, Sept. 22.
The Huskers close the regular season at home against Iowa Saturday, Nov. 25th.
