The Nebraska volleyball team showed signs of the team's youth over the weekend as the Huskers had many hitting errors against Florida, uncommon for the program.
Coach John Cook liked how the team rebounded and learned from its mistakes as the weekend progressed.
"We had more errors than we had in a really long time on Friday night but Saturday we come back and have three players with zero hitting errors so really great adjustment by our team and fixing what we didn't do well the first night so really encouraged by that," Cook said.
Cook also discussed transfer Lexi Sun's status, who's battling an injury.
"Just depends on how she progresses this week, we're going to amp it up this week and see how she responds it's one of those things where we need to keep pushing but we can't go too much," Cook said. "So that's the delicate balance."
The All-American outside hitter transferred to Nebraska from Texas this spring.
