The Bob Devaney Sports Center was packed Saturday night with 7,958 fans as No.1 Nebraska volleyball team swept Northwestern 25-20, 25-11, 25-20. The Huskers win over Northwestern improved them to 20-1 overall and 11-1 in the Big Ten.
Kadie Rolfzen had a match-high 11 kills on .500 hitting with five digs and three blocks. Mikaela Foecke added nine kills on .444 hitting with four blocks. Huskers' Briana Holman had eight kills and a match-high six blocks, and Andie Mally had seven kills.
Last week's Big Ten Setter of the Week Kelly Hunter had 29 assists and nine digs.
Nebraska outhit the Wildcats .308 to .124 and had a 7-4 edge in blocks and 37-31 advantage in digs.
