The 7th ranked Nebraska volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat 14th ranked Creighton on Thursday night in Omaha (22-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-10). The match took place before an NCAA regular season record crowd of 14,022 at the CHI Health Center.
Senior Mikaela Foecke led the Huskers with a career-high 25 kills to go along with 13 digs, five blocks and four aces. Freshman Capri Davis added a career-high 18 kills of her own.
Foecke's 25 kills were the most by a Husker since Kelsey Robinson in 2013.
Taryn Kloth led Creighton (4-3) with a career-high 26 kills.
The Jays host Iowa State on Friday, while the Huskers (5-1) host the Cyclones on Sunday. NU will retire the jersey of Husker legend Sarah Pavan following Sunday's match.
