LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — It definitely didn't look pretty at times but the 5th seeded Nebraska volleyball team found a way to beat Missouri in four sets Saturday in Lincoln to advance to the Sweet 16, 20-25, 25-20, 32-30, 25-18. This marks the 8th straight year John Cook's club has advanced to the regional semifinals & the 25th time in the last 26 seasons.
Jazz Sweet led the way for the Big Red with 17 kills, while Lexi Sun added 13.
In the third, NU had seven set points before finally taking it, 32-30.
The Huskers now head to Madison to face the winner of the Hawaii/San Diego match on Friday.
