The Nebraska women's basketball team fell 87-69 to No. 12 Ohio State Thursday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Huskers' Jessica Shepard tallied her 12th double-double of the year with a season-high 28 points along with 10 rebounds. Nicea Eliely also finished in double-figures for the Huskers ending the night with 13 points.
Ohio State shot a solid 50.7 percent from the floor led by All-American Kelsey Mitchell. Mitchell finished with 27 points for the Buckeyes.
Nebraska (5-20, 1-12) returns to action Sunday, Feb. 19th against Indiana (18-8, 8-5). Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
