In front of a season-high crowd of 6,823 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Sunday afternoon, Nebraska women's basketball pulled out a win in a defensive struggle against Wisconsin, beating the Badgers 51-48 for the Huskers' 18th win this season.

NU trailed 46-44 midway through the fourth quarter, but held the Badgers to just one field goal in the final 4:40 of the game to come back for the win.  The Huskers are now 18-7 overall and 9-3 in the Big Ten.

On a day where NU's offense only scored 51 points, freshman center Kate Cain led the way for the Big Red, notching a team-high 14 points and adding nine rebounds.  Cain's fellow freshman, Taylor Kissinger, posted 11 points off the bench.

Nebraska now hits the road for its next two contests, beginning with a trip to Michigan State on Wedesnday night. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
