OMAHA (KMTV) — Here are the nominees for the 2019-20 3 News Now Coach of the Year:
KATIE WRIGHT, PAPILLION-LV SOUTH VOLLEYBALL: Wright led Papio South volleyball to the Class A state title in her very first year to earn their 4th championship in program history.
MIKE BRANDON, GRETNA VOLLEYBALL: Brandon led Gretna to the state title game. The Dragons knocked off previous Class A champ Millard North in the semifinals to advance to their 3rd championship match in program history.
BRETT FROENDT, OMAHA WESTSIDE FOOTBALL: Froednt helped the Warriors to a 10-3 record and the Class A title game for just the 3rd time.
TOM KASSING, OMAHA RONCALLI FOOTBALL: Kassing led the Crimson Pride to a 9-3 record capped off by an appearance in the Class B semifinals.
