OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The 3 News Now Game of the Year goes to the Millard West vs. Millard South Class A baseball final.
The two teams showed off their excellent defense and pitching at Sherman Field last May as the contest went into extra innings tied at one.
The Wildcats took the lead for good on Ryan David's RBI single in the top of the 11th.
Millard West hung on, 2-1, to capture its first spring state baseball title in program history.
Congrats to both teams for being honored as the 3 News Now Game of the Year!
