Trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the 6th inning, the Creighton Prep baseball team plated eight runs in the frame to win the Don Kraft Invitation title over Millard West, 8-3 the final.
With the bases loaded in the bottom half of the 6th, Prep's Max Mandel hit a high chopper to third base, and on a throwing error from the Wildcats, two runs scored for the Junior Jays to tie the game at 2.
The following batter, Prep's Noah Peyton cleared the bases with a two-RBI triple that put the Junior Jays ahead for good. Creighton Prep added four more runs in the inning, posting the 8-3 win.
