The Omaha Roncalli baseball team made the state tournament for the first time in four years after winning the district title on Monday, 5-1, over Platteview.
Creighton Silvain threw a complete game two-hitter while striking out eight for the Crimson Pride.

Roncalli will now be the 3rd seed at state and play Omaha Concordia/Brownell-Talbot/OCA in the first round at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Sherman Field in Lincoln.
