OMAHA (KMTV) — It's time to unveil our nominees for the 3 News Now Male Athlete of the Year:

TYSON GORDON: The Skutt Catholic senior quarterbacked the Skyhawks to a perfect season and their 2nd straight Class B title last November. Gordon then helped Skutt go undefeated & win a state championship in boys' basketball this March. It's believed to be the first time a Class B school has gone unbeaten in both football & boys' basketball. On the court, Gordon leaves as the school's all-time leading scorer and assist leader. Gordon's future though will be on the gridiron as he signed to play football at North Dakota State.

JACK DOTZLER: The Roncalli QB threw for Class B single-season records of 3,421 yards & 41 touchdowns last season helping the Crimson Pride to the state semifinals. Dotzler also dazzled on the court, averaging nearly 17 points per game leading Roncalli to the state final for a 2nd straight season.
