Lincoln East used some last second heroics to vault them into the semifinals with a 47-45 win over Papillion-La Vista in the first round of the girls state basketball tournament.
It was a back-and-forth matchup throughout and came down to the wire. Late in the fourth, Lincoln East pushed it the length of the floor and Rachel Weber knocked down a layup and got the foul to go up 47-45 with just 3.7 seconds left.
