OUR FIRST NOMINEE FOR COACH OF THE YEAR GOES TO OMAHA BRYAN'S TERRENCE O'DONNELL. O'DONNEL LED THE BEARS TO STATE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SIX SEASONS. BRYAN UPSET LINCOLN EAST THANKS TO A TRE CRAWFORD BUZZER BEATER THAT SENT THE BEARS TO THE SEMIFINALS FOR JUST THE 3RD TIME IN SCHOOL HISTORY.
NEXT UP IS BELLEVUE WEST'S DOUG WOODWARD. WOODWARD HELPED THE T-BIRDS TO THE CLASS A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2014.
OUR NEXT NOMINEE IS ELKHORN'S JENNIFER WRAGGE. WRAGGE COACHED THE ANTLERS TO THEIR FIRST GIRLS' STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 33 YEARS.
OUR FINAL NOMINEE FOR COACH OF THE YEAR GOES TO OMAHA RONCALLI'S JAKE HOOVER. HOOVER HELPED THE CRIMSON PRIDE CAPTURE A CONFERENCE, DISTRICT AND STATE TITLE. IT WAS RONCALLI'S FIRST CLASS B CHAMPIONSHIP SINCE 1981.
