York has claimed the Class B State Championship for the first time since 1944 with a 61-56 win over Omaha Skutt.
The Dukes did not lead in the game until the first overtime, and trailed by four with just 22 seconds left. York forced a turnover on a full court press with 18 seconds left, tied it up and sent it to OT.
York was able to pull away in the second overtime, outscoring the Skyhawks 13-8 in that period. This marked the second double-OT win of the tournament for the Dukes.
York's Brady Danielson finished the game leading all scorers with 25 points to go along with seven rebounds, an assist, two blocks and three steals.
Omaha Skutt's Tyson Gordon and Jake Kudron each had 15 points.
