Papillion-La Vista faced off against Omaha Benson tonight in a Class A matchup.
Before kickoff, the captains of the Benson football team took time to walk over a sign that read "Prayers for Brandon", a tribute to Brandon Steburg, the Papillion football player who was placed in a medically-induced coma after sustaining a head injury in last week's game against Creighton Prep.
Papillion gave Benson everything they had and took down the Bunnies 62-21.
