Bellevue West heads into Friday's matchup 7-0 on the season, only losing one game in the past three seasons. The Thunderbirds are coming off a 62-0 win over Omaha Northwest.
Omaha Westside is 5-2 on the season with its two losses to Creighton Prep (45-41) and Omaha Burke (35-28). The Warriors five wins this season has been over Millard South (48-17), Omaha South (55-7), Omaha Northwest (49-0), Omaha Central (63-7), Lincoln North Star (38-7).
The Thunderbirds and Warriors face off Friday night at 7 p.m. at Phelps field.
